An antique late Victorian to early Edwardian embossed gesso picture frame featuring a softly colored lithograph portrait of a young woman in a pale blue dress. The richly textured frame is decorated with raised floral and foliate motifs, giving it wonderful depth and character.
The frame retains its original aged backing and hanging wire, making it a charming decorative piece for a bookshelf, gallery wall, or layered vignette. The portrait and frame have remained together and display beautifully.
