Antique French floral still life oil painting featuring roses arranged around a small classical sculpture group depicting figures that appear to be a family. Signed Henriette Chambon. Soft muted palette with romantic tones and textured brushwork on canvas. Measures approximately 21.75" x 15". Age-related craquelure, minor paint loss, and one tear in the canvas as shown. The tear is consistent with age and does not detract from the overall presentation, adding to the antique character. Canvas and stretcher show appropriate wear. Ready to display.
